The name Quatra is the acronym of two words: quattro and trapeze. Four because the motor vehicle is equipped with four wheels, and trapezoid because it is the footprint it leaves on the ground. The fundamental points that make the project different are the following A originality of the project B - driving safety C Lack of competitor First point The originality of the project lies in its total appearance, from the futuristic design associated with the footprint scheme of the vehicle, to the technical solutions adopted in the design of the structural frame, and in the study of the suspension kinematics. With the Quatra evolution project, it is possible to drive a motor vehicle equipped with four wheels, maintaining the motorcycle driving style, i.e. allowing you to lean into curves, exactly like a motorbike. All the study done was focused on a specific chassis study, which allows the chassis structure to be released from the reaction of the front and rear shock absorbers. So you continue to ride the Quatra Evoluzione with the same fluidity when cornering as on a motorbike. Second point Driving safety is the primary objective of the birth of the Quatra Evoluzione project. Thanks to its chassis footprint, we find a total width of approximately 1480 mm at the front, and a total width of approximately 680 mm at the rear. This tapering of the width at the rear is due to the fact that, even if the motor vehicle is equipped with four wheels, but not exceeding a width of 680 mm at the rear, for homologation purposes it falls within a three-wheel vehicle, therefore a motor vehicle. Returning to talking about safety, it is easy to understand the difference, that of traveling with a motor vehicle having two wheels at the front, therefore double section of rubber on the ground, double grip in the event of a bend, and double grip during braking, with greater use of braking force on the front. Ditto on the rear, with the advantages of not losing grip during acceleration, braking and cornering. Quatra Evoluzione allows you not to give up the adrenaline-filled pleasure of riding a motorbike, but allows you to travel in total safety. By carrying out an analysis of the causes of motorbike falls, the idea of creating a vehicle with these characteristics was born. The most frequent falls occur for multiple reasons, such as in city traffic, for a sudden change of trajectory with the consequent closing of the handlebars and loss of balance, or caused by a problem of dirt on the road surface, near a curve. Third point Competitor Before starting the new design and prototyping of the Quatra Evoluzione, a market research was carried out to understand which competitors we would have to deal with, at the time of an official presentation of the project, through trade fair events in the sector and with test videos put online. At the moment, no well-known brands and other manufacturers are present on the market with a similar project.
